Dec 27 2014

A hearty greeting to all of you! I am honored and pleased to announce the release of my exposition and tutorial on Tzolkin Cosmology!  I present an evidence based account on the rediscovery of a non-astronomically based cyclical process that seems to be generating every aspect of our reality. The text is written in an expository format, and it comes with an integrated tutorial and 2015 Tzolkin – Gregorian calendar to enable your learning. Initially, the text is only available in PDF format because it is the best platform for its kind of presentation.  I will consider other platforms as feedback from users comes in. The narrative portion of the text is 49 pages in length. The tutorial is 114 pages and the special 2015 Tzolkin – Gregorian calendar is 64 pages long.  The text is interlinked and there is a navigation bar on 97 percent of pages for ease of use.  It also contains outbound links to references, studies, and in-depth reading material. The text was designed to be used in conjunction with TzolkinCosmology. com. If you have been waiting for its release, and are ready to acquire your copy then click on the buy button below the cover image and you are on your way. I have included some sample pages. Why January 1st is Not the Start of the New Year

Why January 1st is Not the Start of the New Year

Dec 31 2013

We live in an age where timekeeping has become an assumed background condition that we do not question. Yet nothing regulates our lives as much as the clock and calendar do. They tell us when we are supposed to work, rest, worship, celebrate, and play. So let us begin with questioning the purported start of the Euro-western New Year. First, we must define what is meant by a year. A year according to the dictionary is a period of time measuring 12 months or 365 days long. More precisely a year is a measure of the Earth’s orbit around the Sun. The question for us is how do we determine the criteria for the start of the solar cycle? That question is not that easy to answer once you realize that a cycle is a circle, and its impossible to determine where a circle starts or ends. Indeed, I have come to the conclusion that there is no end and no beginning in the absolute sense but that idea will be discussed in much deeper detail at another time. A no beginning/no end point of view is a deeply disrupting idea for a culture (Western/Judeo-Christian), whose ideological underpinnings assumes the idea of absolute beginnings and endings. But I will say that there are attributes particular to specific points in the solar cycle. What we name those points is relative to where we stand on the globe. There are better terms to describe the stages of cyclical processes than beginning or end. Fortunately for us, perfect seamless circles are extremely rare in nature. Stars and planets are not perfectly spherical, for they bulge around their...

Searching for A Universal New Year: The relevance of August 13th.

Searching for A Universal New Year: The relevance of August 13th.

Aug 12 2013

Presently there is no universal basis for what qualifies the start of a new year. Every culture has its own set of parameters for determining the start of the new year. The Chinese celebrate theirs in either late January or early February according their lunar calendar. The ancient Egyptians linked the appearance of the star Sirius and the annual flooding of the Nile river to signal the start of their new year. The many cultures of India celebrate the new year on various dates during the month of April. Europe’s Nordic cultures keyed it to the Winter solstice. The Celtic, Samhain, now vulgarized as Halloween, is celebrated by present day neopagans, Wiccans and Druids as the start of their new year. The Maori of New Zealand looked for the appearance of the Pleiades in May to signal the start of the new year. The Hawaiians also pegged their new year to the appearance of the Pleiades, but their new year fell in October. The Aztec-Mexicas celebrated the new year in early March several days before the spring equinox. Even the Maya celebrate 2 different new years dates. One equates to February 22 and some celebrate July 26th. And then there is Gregorian January 1st to mark the start of the new year for Westerners. January 1st was arrived at as the start of the new year in order to honor Julius Ceasar’s exploit as the founder of the “rational calendar”. Contrast that line of reasoning with the fact that the new year of non-western cultures is related to some seasonal and/or astronomical aspect. The foregoing is why I refer to the Gregorian calendar as an urban...

May 20th, 2012 Targeting a New World Age: At the Cross Roads of Cosmic and Earthly Synchronicity

May 20th, 2012 Targeting a New World Age: At the Cross Roads of Cosmic and Earthly Synchronicity

Jun 2 2012

Synchronicity literally means happening together at the same time. But Carl Jung, the person who coined synchronicity qualified the term to mean events occurring simultaneously, and with significance and meaning to the observer, but with no discernible causal connection. One of his most famous examples happened while he was in a counseling session with one of his patients. In his book Synchronicity (1952), Jung tells the following story as an example of a synchronistic event: “A young woman I was treating had, at a critical moment, a dream in which she was given a golden scarab. While she was telling me this dream, I sat with my back to the closed window. Suddenly I heard a noise behind me, like a gentle tapping. I turned round and saw a flying insect knocking against the window-pane from the outside. I opened the window and caught the creature in the air as it flew in. It was the nearest analogy to a golden scarab one finds in our latitudes, a scarabaeid beetle, the common rose-chafer (Cetonia aurata), which, contrary to its usual habits had evidently felt the urge to get into a dark room at this particular moment. I must admit that nothing like it ever happened to me before or since.”   Jung believed that synchronicity pointed to some deep cosmic ordering principles. Jung must have had many such experiences for him to believe that they were all more than mere coincidences. Jung’s hunch was correct. After years of studying ancient Mexico’s most mysterious calendar I’ve come to conclude that the “ordering principles” referred to by Jung are embodied by the AA-Tzolkin Cycle-Code. At what...

Cosmic Convergence: May 20th’s Ring of Fire and Its Connection to December 21st, 2012

Cosmic Convergence: May 20th’s Ring of Fire and Its Connection to December 21st, 2012

May 18 2012

May 20th has been talked about a great deal because there was a rare and spectacular annular eclipse on that day. However, few know that May 20th was astronomically significant for another reason, but we were not be able to witness that event because it happened during the day time. Though the story behind the unseen astronomical event of May 20th is no less fascinating, we will learn how May 20th is also closely related to December 21st, 2012 as well. [Note: This is part one of two articles on the subject of May 20th. The second article was published after the events of May 20th, and it serves as a follow up report and confirmation that we did indeed enter a New World Age as reckoned by the Toltecan Zenith Cosmology. There is another link to part 2 at the end of this article.] Convergence is a prevalent 2012-Mayan Calendar theme. In fact 2012-MC was introduced to the world via Jose Arguelles’ 1987 Harmonic Convergence event in which thousands of people around the world gathered at places of high reverence. The event was a response to Jose’s clarion call to come together on behalf of a greater vision for the future of earth and her inhabitants. The dating of the event was not astronomically reckoned. Arguelles chose the dates based on closure of an obscure “prophecy cycle” known as the prophecy of the 13 Heavens and the 9 Hells. Twenty-two 52 year cycles supposedly came to a close on August 16th, 1987. Calendrics is largely an astronomically based science, but very little is known about the origins and basis of the 1144 year...
